The title of this workout is a bit deceiving because it isn’t actually double or nothing. You could totally kick your butt going through this workout just once. Really that might be all ya got and if you do it once, give it 100% and that’s it for you?
Perfect. Once is enough. But notice that you’re still doubling. With each exercise you complete the next one doubles in number, by the end (160 jump ropes) it’s totally intense and you might be like, “How did this get so hard so fast when I started with 10 reps?”
I’ll tell ya…the doubling approach, which can also be called compound interest, is really powerful. When you take a small sum of money and invest it into an interest bearing account it may feel like your money grows slowly at first but once it does and starts doubling it can seem like it blows up almost at once.
