What might not feel so good is if you’ve been hiding under your down jacket, scarf, and long johns for the last few months eating comfort food.
Or maybe that’s just me. It never fails that by the tail end of the cold months I’ve added a few pounds of padding on my body.
I’ve learned over the years that beating myself up about it gets me nowhere and what does is taking action and blocking out 15 minutes on my calendar each day to get a quick workout done.
When I start my day with movement it supports me in making smart food choices through the day. I also feel so much better when I get my blood pumping right away in the a.m.
Since I’m not one to wake up early and jump out of bed I know that setting my alarm so I can hit a 60 minute class or go for a 5 mile run in the dark WILL NOT happen. What will happen is the snooze button. Over and over again.
What I’m willing to commit to is to waking up 15 minutes earlier to get in a fierce, fast workout. I live and love by it, and this killer workout will have you back in your body just in time for the warmer weather.
This week commit to the workout a minimum of 3 times. Do it twice through and see if you can add another round on the second and third day that you do it.
Go be fierce, Lisa-
